CHRISTINE JAMES, MD

PHAC MEMBER

Christine James, MD, MSc is an allergist-immunologist whose interest in climate change began in fellowship at the University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. During her training, she obtained a master's degree in clinical and translational research in the department of environmental health. Her research focused on the intersection between climate change and allergic-immunologic disease, and she has since expanded her work to advocacy through op-eds, webinars, and policy efforts.


She is a trained Climate Reality leader, a Copello fellow through Doctors for America, an active member of Climate Health Now, a California-based healthcare professional organization that recognizes climate change as a public health emergency, and a volunteer with Environment America. Christine is also in the process of earning a Climate Change and Health Certificate from the Yale School of Public Health.
